KleenAir Moves to New Hi-Tech Facility

FULLERTON, Calif.--July 24, 2001--KleenAir Systems Inc., (OTCBB:KAIR) has moved into a new 18,000 square foot facility in Fullerton, CA. The new facility includes $2 million dollars worth of hi-tech automotive emissions testing equipment. This comprises a chassis dynomometer, a large engine dyno, a small engine dyno and a motorcycle chassis dyno.
This will enable the Company to speed up its testing and certification activities related to the commercial launch of its NOxMaster(R) combination SCR/DOC system, standard Diesel Oxidizing Catalysts (DOC), and Oxidizing Particulate Traps (OPT). The range of equipment will apply to the Company's heavy duty and light duty NOx and particulate reduction products.
The motorcycle chassis dyno will permit extensive testing of the Company's new innovative Sonic Flow Carburetor(TM) which significantly improves operating efficiency and reduces emissions for small gasoline engines including motorcycles, snowmobiles, lawnmowers and small standby power generators.
In connection with the move and broadening of its product line, the Company has hired a senior software engineer to create additional controller programs. It has also hired an expert in government grant applications in the field of stationary engines used primarily for standby power generators.
KleenAir has a unique computer controlled ammonia system, the NOxMaster(R), which, when injected into the exhaust stream, interacts with NOx produced during combustion. The result converts environmentally hazardous NOx into harmless nitrogen and water. In addition, the Company's catalytic converters and particulate traps significantly reduce particulates as well as hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO).
