International Wire Promotes Glenn Holler to CFO

    ST. LOUIS--July 23, 2001--International Wire Holding Company and its operating company, International Wire Group, Inc., announced today the promotion of Glenn J. Holler to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, replacing David M. Sindelar who was recently named Chief Executive Officer.
    Holler had served as Vice President -- Finance since August 1996. Prior to joining International Wire, Holler was employed by Vigoro Industries, Inc. as Vice President, Finance from 1994 to 1996. From 1983 to 1994, Mr. Holler held several positions at Moog Automotive, Inc. including Vice President -- Finance and Senior Vice President -- Finance.
