Integrated Information Systems Receives Microsoft Award

    TEMPE, Ariz.--July 23, 2001--Integrated Information Systems Inc. (IIS) , an innovative technology and business consultancy, Monday announced Microsoft's recognition of IIS with the 2001 Microsoft Retail Application Developer (R.A.D.) Award in their Supply Chain Execution category.
    This award acknowledges IIS' role in the application development and systems integration between two independent retailers, CSK Auto and Advance Auto Parts, using Microsoft's Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, and Cluster Server technologies. The application is available to consumers at www.PartsAmerica.com.
    The PartsAmerica solution integrates the warehouse and inventory information systems of both CSK Auto and Advance Auto Parts. Their retail customers now have the option to order online, then pick up parts at any nearby store of either retailer, or choose to have the order delivered to them. Customers can check product availability and order and shipping status online at their convenience.
    Merchandise can be returned to either a CSK Auto or an Advance Auto Parts retail location.
    Not only did IIS receive the Microsoft R.A.D. Award for the PartsAmerica.com solution, PartsAmerica itself received the Retail Systems 2001 Achievement Award for Best in E-Commerce Integration, sponsored by i2 Technologies. The award-winning solution coupled its Web storefront with existing fulfillment, merchandising, store and financial systems.
