Rexhall Industries Announces Plant Fire

    LANCASTER, Calif.--July 19, 2001--William J. Rex, president and chief executive officer of Rexhall Industries Inc. today announced that a fire occurred yesterday afternoon at their manufacturing plant in Lancaster, Calif.
    The fire was quickly contained, and there were no injuries to employees or fire officials. A preliminary estimate of the damages to the building and raw material inventory is between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000 and is fully covered by insurance (with the exception of minimal deductibles). The employees rallied together late into the night and early this morning cleaning up the water and smoke damage. The computer systems are up and running, and production will resume tomorrow.
