    IRVINE, Calif., July 19 QUANTUM Technologies WorldWide,
Inc., and Ford Motor Company announce a collaborative
effort to improve the performance of alternative fuel vehicles.  During the
past year, the companies worked together on two projects: a prototype liquid
propane gas (LPG) fuel-injected Ford F-150, and a prototype LPG fuel-injected
Ford Crown Victoria passenger car.  Ford is currently evaluating the
performance of these vehicles.  Preliminary test data indicate that overall
system performance is exceeding expectations.  Future collaborative efforts
may be planned.
