Heafner Tire Group Announces Corporate Office Relocation

    CHARLOTTE, N.C.--July 19, 2001--Mr. Dick Johnson, President and CEO of Heafner Tire Group, Inc., announced that the Company will be relocating the corporation's offices effective July 23, 2001.
    The corporate offices in Charlotte, N.C. and the divisional offices in Lincolnton, N.C. are being consolidated at one office location in Huntersville, N.C. (approximately 20 miles from either of the current locations). The Company will be located at this new address beginning Monday, July 23, 2001:

    Dick Johnson commented, "This move allows us to optimize all of our local resources to support our vital field operations.
