    FINDLAY, Ohio, July 19 Cooper Tire & Rubber Company
today announced a quarterly dividend of 10.5 cents per share on
common stock, payable September 28, 2001 to stockholders of record at the
close of business September 4, 2001. This will mark the 118th consecutive
quarterly dividend paid by Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.
