    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 18 Jeffrey B. Higgs has been named
a Principal in BBK, Ltd.'s Southfield, Michigan office with primary
responsibilities for automotive clients with special responsibilities in the
international area.

    Higgs, an experienced automotive executive, joined BBK in November 1999 as
a manager.
    In 28 years with the Chrysler Corporation, Higgs completed a variety of
domestic and international assignments.  As Managing Director of Chrysler's
Northern Pacific Operations, he conducted several major negotiations with
Korea's Hyundai and SsangYong corporations and was a member of the Mitsubishi
Motors Board of Directors.
    Higgs was also involved in the turnaround of troubled Chrysler
manufacturing subsidiaries in Peru and Mexico, and he executed the first local
currency bond financing ever completed by a multinational corporation in
Mexico.  In the early 1990s, he managed the restructuring of Chrysler's rental
car subsidiaries, which were later sold in a successful IPO.  He joined the
new company, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, in 1998 as Executive Vice
President for Corporate Planning.

    Higgs, who is fluent in Spanish, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri and an MBA from
Washington University in St. Louis.
