Sika Automotive Names Thomas Whittemore Business Manager

    MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., July 17 Sika Automotive has
announced the appointment of Thomas Whittemore to assume the position of
Automotive Business Manager for Sika Automotive.  His responsibilities include
compiling and analyzing data for budgets, forecasts and profitability
statements.  He will report to Robert Myers, Executive Senior Vice President,
Automotive Division.
    Mr. Whittemore has more than 25 years of experience related to finance and
accounting in the automotive industry.  Some of his former employers include
Collins and Aikman, MSX International, R. L. Polk & Company and Bundy Tubing.
    Mr. Whittemore holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lawrence
Technological University and attended Wayne State University where he
completed courses toward a Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
