Cadalog, Inc. Ships New Solid Edge Parts Library; Offers Over One Million Parts

    BELLINGHAM, Wash.--July 17, 2001--Cadalog, Inc. announced today that it is now shipping SE-PartsXL, a parametric parts library for Solid Edge V9 and V10.
    The plug-in program runs inside Solid Edge and can create well over one million standard and manufacturer-specific parts such as bearings, fasteners, and steel shapes. SE-PartsXL is now being sold for an introductory price of $295 in North America. Regular price is $495.

Parametric Mechanical Parts Library

    SE-PartsXL, one of the largest mechanical parts libraries in the world, creates selected components on the fly and supports Solid Edge native modeling features. The program also supports ANSI, ISO, DIN and JIS industrial standards, and over 37 different American and Japanese manufacturer catalogs. Cadalog, Inc. regularly adds to its parts inventory and plans to provide updates to current SE-PartsXL users either through the Web or by CD.

Web-Based Parts Coming Soon

    Cadalog, Inc. also plans to release an online parts library version of SE-PartsXL. Slated for release in September 2001, the online version will be similar to Cadalog, Inc.'s PartsWorks.com and CADalog.com. The Web-based version will allow customers of SE-PartsXL to download millions of Solid Edge parts components instantly.
