RACO Industries First to Ship Destinator

CINCINNATI--July 16, 2001--Today, RACO Industries, Inc. begins shipping the Destinator(TM), a GPS-based portable personal navigation system, to customers that pre-ordered via their web site www.trackmyvehicle.com. The Destinator(TM) currently interfaces with the Compaq iPAQ(TM) Pocket PC, and is a compelling mobile alternative to the more costly, less flexible, permanent in-vehicle navigation systems. The Destinator(TM), a product of Paradigm Advanced Technologies, Inc.'s (OTCBB:PRAV) PowerLOC Division, unites cutting edge technology with ease of use.
Users input any address or select one from the address book. Multi-lingual voice prompts provide door-to-door directions to the destination while displaying dynamic and interactive maps supplied by Navigation Technologies Corporation (NAVTECH), the premier map data provider to an elite group of global auto manufacturers. If a turn is missed, an alternate route is automatically recalculated.
"We believe that the Destinator(TM) is the best GPS-based, portable navigation tool available today, and we're very excited about being the first to market with this product," stated Rob Adams, CEO of RACO Industries, Inc. "We've been searching for a navigation and communications device that is more robust and more economical than permanent in-vehicle systems. The Destinator(TM) meets that need."
"This is a user-friendly, inexpensive navigation solution that allows individuals access to very useful information," Adams commented. "The response to our web site has been tremendous."
"We are pleased to have RACO Industries as one of the first distributors to ship the Destinator(TM) product," said Eduardo Guendelman, President & CEO of Paradigm Advanced Technologies. "RACO has generated great pre-release demand for the product through innovative web-based marketing."
The bundled package consists of the Destinator(TM) software and the Compaq iPAQ(TM) Pocket PC, is sold for $1,095. Compaq iPAQ owners can purchase the navigation accessory only for $329.00. The Destinator(TM) includes a high quality, 12-channel GPS antenna-receiver, cigarette lighter adaptor/charger, Destinator(TM) software and maps of the US and Canada. Optional mounting brackets are available.
To order the Destinator(TM), please visit www.trackmyvehicle.com, or call Tom Lehn, 800-446-1991.
