    LIVONIA, Mich., July 16 McLaren Performance Technologies,
Inc. today announced it has retained Lambert, Edwards &
Associates, Inc. to direct its investor relations activities.

    The Livonia, Mich.-based developer and manufacturer of high-performance
automotive and traction systems said its improving performance and progress
implementing the growth strategy developed by its new management team drove
the decision to increase its investor relations efforts.  Through May,
revenues for the calendar year have grown almost 13 percent.  Grand Rapids,
Mich.-based Lambert, Edwards & Associates, Inc. will assist McLaren
Performance in communicating its results and growth strategy to shareholders,
the investment community and the media.
