    BOULDER, Colo., July 16 Cellport Systems, Inc., a leading

today unveiled Cellport 3000(TM) with Voice Command, the first universal,
voice-activated hands-free system that provides mobile phone users with
breakthrough convenience in their vehicles.  Unlike other hands-free systems,
Cellport Voice Command users can plug different model cell phones into a
vehicle's system to take advantage of its voice-activated, hands-free
operation.  In addition to its ability to work with a wide variety of cell
phone models, the Voice Command's voice-activated feature allows drivers to
make and receive calls using simple spoken commands.
    In another major announcement, Cellport Systems announced today that Ford
Motor Company will begin offering the Voice Command product starting
later this year for many 2002 model year vehicles.

    Adaptable to all popular cell phones models, the universal Cellport 3000
with Voice Command uses speaker-independent voice recognition, enabling any
driver to place and answer calls using simple spoken commands -- without
having to look at or touch the phone.  The Voice Command product uses a
patented Universal Docking Station and phone-specific Pocket Adapters to
accommodate cell phones of various makes and models.  This means that drivers
can dock different cell phones models into one vehicle's system to take
advantage of its voice-activated, hands-free operation.  Now all family

hassle or expense of installing different car kits.
    The Cellport 3000 with Voice Command works with analog and digital phones,
including all cellular, PCS and 3G frequencies and protocols.  Once installed,
the system utilizes the vehicle's power to operate the phone and charge the
battery, and uses the vehicle's speakers for sound.  An external antenna port
is also provided for improved signal reception and fewer dropped calls.

for use with wireless phones, including: radio preset buttons that function as
