InfoGation Hires Navigation Expert to Lead Engineering Team

    SAN DIEGO, July 12 InfoGation Corp., a leading developer
of navigation software and services for vehicles, today announced the
appointment of Michael O'Shea as chief operating officer and vice president of
engineering.  Michael will work closely with President and CEO Kent Pu to
bring new products and services to the telematics industry.
    O'Shea will be responsible for day-to-day operations, engineering
management and overall technology strategy of the company. He brings a wealth
of experience in the navigation field to InfoGation with his work at both
Navigation Technologies and Alpine Electronics Corporation.
    Over the past 11 years, O'Shea has held senior management positions with
two of the most successful automotive navigation companies.  Most recently, at
Navigation Technologies, he was the director of software engineering and
spearheaded the development of Navigation Technologies SDAL and NAVTOOLS
product lines.  Before that, he spent five years at Alpine Electronics where
he was instrumental in the design and implementation of complex routing and
guidance components of Alpine's navigation systems.

    O'Shea earned a degree in Engineering at the Cork Regional Technical
College in Ireland, and he spent five years in Japan while working as an
employee for Alpine.
