NORTHVILLE, Mich., July 12 Hayes Lemmerz International,
Inc. , a leading global supplier to the automotive and commercial

"The decision to close the Petersburg facility was an extremely difficult one for us," said Ron Cucuz, Chief Executive Officer of Hayes Lemmerz. "It is never an easy decision, but the need to remain competitive in a very demanding and rapidly evolving industry requires us to take these measures."

"We will work to assist our people affected by the closure," added Cucuz.
