Jan Bertsch Joins the Chrysler Group as Vice President Of Global Sales & Marketing Finance

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., July 11 The Chrysler Group today
announced that it has appointed Jan Bertsch as Vice President, Global Sales &
Marketing Finance.  She will report to James Donlon, Senior Vice President,
Controlling Chrysler.
    In this position, Bertsch will be responsible for supporting the growth of
Chrysler Sales worldwide and overseeing all of the financial controls
associated with the Chrysler Group's Sales & Marketing activities.
    "We are very pleased to have someone with Jan's global experience and
expertise join us to help us achieve the challenging objectives set out in our
Turnaround Plan.  Jan demonstrates a strong ability to balance the thrust for
entrepreneurial sales and revenue growth with discipline and financial
accountability," said Donlon.
    Bertsch, 44, joins the Chrysler Group from Visteon Corporation, where she
most recently served as Vice President and Treasurer, responsible for funding,
banking, portfolio operations, foreign exchange, risk management and pension
investments for all business segments.  Prior to joining Visteon, Bertsch
spent 21 years at Ford Motor Company, where she held a number of domestic and
overseas Finance positions.
    Bertsch holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Wayne State University
and a master's of business administration from Eastern Michigan University.
