Cadillac Forms a New, Stronger Professional Vehicle Team

Detroit MI - Cadillac makes another aggressive move into the professional vehicle arena with a merger of its technical and marketing support staffs. The entire Professional Vehicle Support Team now resides under one roof and works directly with Dave Ransom, the Professional Vehicle Brand Manager of the DeVille Brand Team.

In the past, two separate groups supported Cadillac Professional Vehicle activities. The Cadillac Master Coachbuilder program housed a professional engineering staff that reported to Specialty Vehicle Activities at the General Motors Technical Center. The Cadillac Limousine Dealer program employed field-marketing consultants and an office staff at Professional Vehicle Headquarters.

"Cadillac professional vehicle sales and market share have continually increased since the introduction of the 2000 DeVille, and this merger is in direct response to the increased business", says Professional Vehicle Brand Manager Dave Ransom. "The new streamlined organization is better equipped to provide the world-class standard of service that dealers, coachbuilders, and customers have come to expect from Cadillac."

The new organizational structure will facilitate improved communications between the technical and marketing staffs and afford Cadillac Professional Vehicle Program Headquarters the opportunity to provide more consistent, efficient support to its customers and industry partners.

Under the expert direction of Professional Vehicle Brand Manager Dave Ransom, Cadillac expects to move aggressively forward in the marketplace with the newly unified and energized professional support staff.
