UGN, Inc. Appoints Keeley Plant Manager

    CHICAGO, July 9 Joseph Keeley was named plant manager at
UGN's Chicago Heights, Ill. facility, according to Ken Franklin, vice
president of operations.  In his new position, Keeley is responsible for
overseeing all manufacturing functions of the supplier's automotive acoustics
and production operations at that facility.
    Prior to joining UGN, Keeley spent 10 years at Detroit-based Mexican
Industries, an automotive interior component supplier.  Most recently, he
served as director of manufacturing, responsible for the supervision of five
manufacturing plants and more than 900 employees.  In this capacity, he
provided direction and leadership to his team and played a key role in the
consolidation and integration of numerous manufacturing facilities.  Keeley
joined Mexican Industries as engineer/cost estimator in 1991 and later held
several manufacturing management positions.
    Prior to joining Mexican Industries, Keeley was project leader on the Ford
Rawsonville facility design for Ghafari Associates.
    "Joseph's knowledge in the automotive supplier industry, paired with his
expertise in cost and inventory management, will be beneficial to the
increased efficiency of our Chicago Heights facility," said Franklin.
    Keeley replaces Michael Pulley, who was promoted to director of
manufacturing support services.
    Keeley holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering and
technology from Central Michigan University, as well as a master's in business
administration from Michigan State University.
