KANSAS SPEEDWAY - 7/6/01

17 RICKY HENDRICK, NO. 17 GMAC SILVERADO.  T-Rex4.  It ran St. Louis
(started ninth, finished sixth), Darlington (2/34) and Texas (6/5).

20 COY GIBBS, NO. 20 MBNA SILVERADO.  Brand-new truck.  The sister truck to
the one that earned team¹s best finish in Dover.  Has not seen the light of
day until yesterday¹s optional testing.  Curtis Markham, team spotter,
helped shake out the Silverado.

24 JACK SPRAGUE, NO. 24 NETZERO PLATINUM SILVERADO.  T-Rex3.  Ran three
times this year: Texas (first); Pikes Peak (third); Darlington (second).

46 DENNIS SETZER, NO. 46 ACXIOM/COMPUTER ASSOCIATES SILVERADO.  No. 18
chassis, "Cartman."  Cartman is named after a "South Park"  character.  All
Morgan-Dollar Silverados are named after South Park characters, including
Kenny, Timmy and Mr. Hankey.

60 TRAVIS KVAPIL, NO. 60 CAT RENTAL STORES SILVERADO.  No. 6.  Basically
brand-new Silverado.  Was a road-course truck that won Portland last year.
Was completely stripped down and made into a speedway truck.

61 RANDY TOLSMA, NO. 61 TEAM RENSI MOTORSPORTS SILVERADO.  "Larry."  Named
after the magician the team met at Daytona.  On the dashboard is a section
of a playing card Larry used in one of his tricks.  Had top-10 finishes in
three of the four events run:  Daytona (fifth); Mesa Marin (10th); Texas
(eighth), Milwaukee (30th).

75 BILLY BIGLEY, NO. 75 SPEARS MANUFACTURING SILVERADO. No. 11. "It does not
have a name; it's not Earl," says Bigley.  Bigley put a Kansas stripe on it
yesterday in optional testing.  "I ran this Silverado in Darlington, and I
did the same thing in Darlington.  I flat-sided it on the practice day in
Darlington.  I don't know if it's me or the truck."

88 MATT CRAFTON, NO. 88 FASTTRACK DRIVEWAY SEALER SILVERADO.  "Rocky."  It
ran Darlington, Dover and Bakersfield.  The team brought No. 4 chassis here,
then found that backup Silverado "Rocky" was better here.  Team switched
engines from No. 4 to Rocky.

90      LANCE NORICK, NO. 90 AVENTIS BEHRING CHOICE SILVERADO.  "Lucky 7."
The seventh Silverado built by the team.  Ran first and only time this year,
before yesterday, in Texas.  Started 14th, finished 12th.
