Ducati Motor Holding Appoints New Commercial Director

    BOLOGNA, Italy, July 2 Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. , a leading
manufacturer of high performance motorcycles, today announced the appointment
of Nicola Greco, 45, as Group Commercial Director.  His appointment is
effective immediately.
    Mr. Greco brings to Ducati great international experience in the fields of
sales, marketing, dealer network management, product development and
logistics.  He has a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi
University, Milan and began his career at 3M and Olivetti in Italy.  Mr. Greco
then worked thirteen years at Fiat Auto holding various positions including
Director for Global Parts and Accessories, Head of Product and Service
Marketing Worldwide, Marketing Director, Fiat Auto UK and Marketing Director,
Fiat Auto Portugal. Since July 1999, he has been Chief Executive Officer of
Fiat Auto Ireland.
