Infiniti Reports June Sales

    GARDENA, Calif., July 3 Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. today reported June sales of 5,876 units.
    Following the launch of an all-new 2002 model, Infiniti Q45 vehicle sales
are up 32.4 percent versus last year with sales of 543 units.
    Infiniti I30 led the division in sales with 2,692 units, a 20.8 percent
decrease versus last year while the QX4 luxury sport utility vehicle posted
sales of 1,529 units, a 31.3 percent decrease versus last year.
    Rounding out Infiniti's lineup, the G20 luxury sports sedan posted sales
of 1,112 units, a 16.5 percent decrease versus last year.
    Overall, the Infiniti division reported a 20.2 percent decrease versus
last year.  Nissan North America, Inc. combined sales for June, including
Nissan and Infiniti divisions, totaled 63,744 units, a 5.0 percent decline
from last year.
