Two Delphi Operations Named 'Outstanding Suppliers' by Subaru-Isuzu

    LAFAYETTE, Ind., July 5 Delphi Automotive Systems
announced today, the company received two Subaru-Isuzu Automotive
Inc. (SIA) Outstanding Supplier Awards at a recent ceremony.

    *  Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems Rochester, N.Y. Operations was
recognized for evaporative emissions canisters it supplies to SIA.  This is
the fourth Subaru-Isuzu Quality Award in six years received by Delphi's
Rochester team.
    *  Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems Fitzgerald, Ga.  Battery Operations was
recognized for automotive batteries it supplies to SIA.

    "We're pleased to be honored by Subaru-Isuzu as an outstanding supplier,"
said Robert J. Remenar, executive director of business lines for Delphi Energy
& Chassis Systems.  "This type of award recognizes our entire Delphi teams'
ongoing effort to be our customers' best supplier."
    At the ceremony, members of SIA operations committee, Mr. Masayoshi
Nagano, president, and Mr. Naofumi Horie, executive vice president,
congratulated SIA suppliers for achievement in the areas of quality and
delivery.
    Mr. Nagano commended suppliers for their efforts in improving quality to
meet customer expectations.  SIA vice president of manufacturing, Pat Williams
recognized suppliers' achievements, noting their willingness to set and meet
high quality and delivery standards.
    Subaru-Isuzu Automotive Inc. employs more than 3,100 associates in a joint
venture facility near Lafayette, Ind.  SIA associates build the following
models: Subaru Outback and Legacy; Isuzu Rodeo, Rodeo Sport and Axiom.
