The Chicagoland Ford Dealers Bring the Stars of Ford Racing To the Windy City, Wednesday, July 11

    DEARBORN, Mich., July 5 Ford Racing and the Chicagoland
Ford Dealers will kick off Chicago's inaugural NASCAR Winston Cup race weekend
with Ford Racing Fan Appreciation Day on July 11, 2001 from 4 to 8 p.m. at
Chicago Motor Speedway in Cicero, Ill.  Ford Racing Fan Appreciation Day will
take place at the Ford sponsored Cicero track before NASCAR moves south to
Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., for Sunday's race.
    Ford Racing Fan Appreciation Day tickets are free and will be available at
any of Your Local Ford Stores between June 27 and July 11, 2001.
    The free ticket will give fans the chance to meet their racing heroes, as
Ford drivers Dale Jarrett, Ricky Rudd, Rusty Wallace, Matt Kenseth, Elliott
Sadler, Brett Bodine and Ryan Newman.  Each driver will sign 350 autographs
during a 90-minute session.  Autograph sessions will run from 4:15 to 5:45
p.m. and 6:15 to 7:45 p.m.  Select drivers will also participate in question-
and-answer and kids' autograph sessions.  As schedules permit, other Ford
drivers may be added to the event.
    Fans will also have the opportunity to enjoy interactive racing displays,
showcars, team merchandise, production and concept vehicles, clowns,
children's activities and pit crew demonstrations.  Fans will be able to test
their skills behind the wheel and in the pits at the GameWorks Ford Racing
Zone and the Motorcraft pit crew challenge.
