Practice Notes from Road America
- No. 87 Potekhen did not go out for the session, as the team was repairing
damaged sustained
during the last session of the Thursday test day.
- No. 81 Russo went off course and contacted the tire wall. The car was
undamaged and able to continue.
- No. 11 Rubenzer went off course in turn one and contacted wall and was
unable to continue. A broken stub axel was the cause for the accident. The
car will be repaired for qualifying.
- No. 15 Rojas went off course and was unable to continue. The car was
undamaged.
- No. 4 Hagar only ran limited laps to scrub in tires. With a limited crew
he was unable to change tires and rejoin the session.
- No. 13 Kahne was reporting carburation problems during the session.
- No. 25 Brinkmann was changing engines after the session for qualifying.
- No. 2 Gray, who changed gears before the session, is changing back to
first gear set for qualifying.
- No. 88 Otto, a local driver, has gotten the crowds attention with a
stunning paint job on the car.
