Fibrenew International Ltd., Appears on Alexander Haig's World Business Review ``On Location;'' Repair, Restore & Recycle - Don't Replace

BOCA RATON, Fla.--July 3, 2001--Multi-Media Productions (USA), Inc. is proud to announce the participation of Fibrenew International Ltd., on Alexander Haig's World Business Review - "On Location" series. The episode will air on U.S. public television stations from July 7th - July 12th 2001, including New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Miami. For specific market-by-market air dates and times, please e-mail healingm@mmpusa.com.
Fibrenew enables its franchisees to repair, restore and/or re-dye, rather than replace valuable inventory, parts and products. "In today's economy, being able to repair an item, and make it as good-as-new, makes tremendous sense. Not to mention fiscally prudent," said Wendy Altman, the show's coordinating producer.
Michael Wilson, president of Fibrenew International appears on World Business Review "On Location" to discuss the value inherent in quality repair systems, as well as franchising opportunities. "My vision when I started this company was to grow it worldwide. Since we commenced franchising internationally in 1995, we've been able to expand into seven different countries. I believe the time is ripe for Fibrenew to grow in the second world as well as the first and people are very receptive to our process," said Wilson.
The company provides solutions -- through its franchisees -- to distributors, dealers and end-users in the aviation, automotive, marine and consumer markets by enabling them to repair, restore and re-dye parts, components and materials. The system repairs plastics, leathers and vinyl.
In order to keep up with the products that are being manufactured, the company spends significant capital as well as human resources in academic and corporate research involving the latest in polymer technology.
World Business Review can be viewed on PBS The Business & Technology Network, Bloomberg Television, United Airlines as well as video on demand at (Yahoo!) at Broadcast.com. WBR, a continuing education series, is being used in a variety of business and technology courses or within the School of Business libraries at Carnegie Mellon University, University of Notre Dame, Dartmouth College, Duke University, DePaul University, Georgetown University, University of Florida, City University of Hong Kong, among other distinguished institutions of higher education.
