Motion Industries Certifies Twenty Fluid Power Specialists
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--July 2, 2001--Motion Industries announces the certification of 20 Fluid Power Specialists, bringing the company's total number of certified specialists to 120, according to Bill Stevens, president and CEO."We strive to provide our customers with unparalleled service," Stevens said. To attain Fluid Power Specialist certification, class participants attend Motion Industries' corporate university, Motion Institute, to master use of formulas to calculate flows, pressures, cylinder and line sizes, accumulator sizing and precharges, electrical circuitry, troubleshooting and more. Class attendees then take a three-hour Certification Exam administered by The Fluid Power Society. Over the last five years, Motion Industries' specialists have attained a pass rate higher than the national average.
Motion Industries' Fluid Power Certification Class of 2001 includes Bob Bishop, Tony Mueller, David Gilbert, Bob Bobek, John McNamee, Phil Davis, Joey Musice, Richard McLin, Jim Johnson, Scott Smith, Phil Bickert, Kyle Roy, Dave Thode, Jeff Stange, David Bailey, Al Preder, Greg Leslie, Lars Larson, Bill Englund, and Don Lindholm.
Founded in 1988 to provide training, certification and continuing education to Motion Industries' employees and customers, The Motion Institute of Industrial Education offers customized and in-plant classes; certification programs in fluid power, mechanical power, electrical power and bearings; continuing education units, college credits and training needs assessments.
