New HUMMER Dealer Appointed in Boston - Long HUMMER

BOSTON -The world's premier off-road vehicle, the HUMMER H1, is now on sale and available in the Boston metropolitan area at the newly appointed Long HUMMER in Framingham, Massachusetts.

General Motors and AM General awarded a new HUMMER franchise to Charles Long to establish Long HUMMER in June 2001.

"GM is proud to announce Long HUMMER as the new dealership for HUMMER in the Boston area. HUMMER dealers represent an elite group whose commitment to customer service and sales performance is truly exceptional." Said Steve Hill, HUMMER director of sales and service.

"I think the current product of HUMMER is really exciting and the future looks even stronger," said Charles Long, owner Long HUMMER.

Based on the military HUMVEE, the civilian HUMMER H1 has three distinct bodystyles, the 4-Door Wagon, the 4-Door HardTop and 4-Door SoftTop. Mid-year 2002, HUMMER will also launch the first sibling to the HUMMER H1, the all-new H2 SUV.

General Motors and AM General reached an agreement in December 1999 in which GM acquired exclusive ownership of the HUMMER brand name worldwide.
