    PORTLAND, Ore.--June 29, 2001--Chrome Systems
Corporation, provider of automotive data, configuration technology and
commerce solutions, announced today that USAA, a worldwide financial
services provider, will expand its automotive offerings by adding
Chrome's industry-leading pricing and configuration technology to the
USAA membership Web site.
With Chrome, USAA will provide its 4.6 million members with
instant access to the most accurate automotive pricing and
specification information, expanding the online vehicle services
available to members.
"USAA has a strong reputation of providing the highest level of
quality customer service to its members," said Bob Navarre, Chrome
CEO. "Chrome enables USAA to expand the services available to its
members while maintaining the caliber of service and trust they've
come to expect."
In a recent study, "Online New-Vehicle Pricing Accuracy,"
conducted by CNW Marketing/Research in April 2001, ten online
new-vehicle pricing Web sites were evaluated on the accuracy of their
data and configuration. Chrome ranked first in accurate vehicle
pricing and 100% orderable vehicle configuration. With Chrome, USAA
can now ensure that its members are receiving the most accurate
vehicle pricing and configuration information.
