Auto Biz In Japan: Smells Like Old Sushi
TOKYO — Japan's auto exports fell 9.0% in May from a year earlier to 286,758 units, extending their falling streak to five months, the Japan Automobiles Manufacturers Association said Thursday. Exports of passenger cars dropped 8.9% to 245,660 units, while those of trucks fell 12.0% to 37,450 units, the association said. Exports of buses jumped 17.7% to 3,648 units. (Kyodo News)
