Cleveland One Year Ago: While driving the #55 Hollywood/Mercedes-Benz/Reynard for the injured Tony Kanaan under the Mo Nunn Racing banner, Herta qualified seventh and finished ninth at the 2000 Marconi Grand Prix. Herta's result was one of three top-ten starts and finishes in the six races he contested in as a substitute driver in 2000.

Topping the Charts: Herta has qualified in the top-ten in six of his seven starts at Cleveland, four of which were in the top-five. Herta also has five top-ten finishes at the Burke Lakefront Airport, including two podium finishes, second in 1995 and third in 1997.

CART Wheels for Kids: Herta will be the featured guest at this week's "CART Wheels for Kids" program at the Cleveland Westpark YMCA kids camp on Thursday at 10:00 am. Herta will discuss the importance of seatbelts, helmets and environmental safety to the 400 campers. There will be a showcar on hand, and Herta will answer questions and sign autographs. This event is open to the media.

Familiar Ground: Based in Hilliard, Ohio, Cleveland is a highlight for the Zakspeed/Forsythe Racing crewmembers, many of whom Ohio natives. With the shop just two hours south, Cleveland is the first of two "home" races for the team. Herta also resided in Ohio for several years and attended Ohio State University.

Herta on Cleveland: "It will be great to race again in Ohio. I lived there for quite a while so I really enjoy the Ohio races. We found some things during the practice session last weekend on our set-up that we have been evaluating, and I think it should help us with our set-up this week, so I am looking forward to getting out on the track on Friday. This is a great event, and I really like racing at the airport."
