NASCAR BGN: Jason Keller looking for better times at Milwaukee

A Disappointing Finish at Kentucky... Jason Keller and the Albertson's team had one of the fastest cars on the track at the new Kentucky Speedway. However, the No. 57 Albertson's Ford ran out of fuel and Keller fell two laps down.

"We had a great car all weekend," said Keller. "To run that competitively and run out of fuel five laps before our scheduled pit stop is really disappointing. As I was trying to refire the car on pit road, my spotter said the caution was out. I knew we would end up two laps down. After we got the first lap back early on, I thought I would have a chance to get back on the lead lap. The Albertson's Ford ran with the race leaders, it just couldn't get by them. I know we could have had a top-five finish. We did finish 14th and it could have been worse if the car wasn't as quick as it was."

On the Season... Keller knows he is close to the Busch Series Championship. To stay in contention for the championship the team needs to stay consistent and finish well at Milwaukee.

"We've had a great year, but have made some costly mistakes," said Keller. "As a driver you just don't know when the opportunity to contend for the championship will present itself again like it is this year. I expect more from myself and from my team this year than I ever have. When we make mistakes like we did at Kentucky, it just makes it more difficult to accept. We tested well at Chicago last week, so we were able to move past Kentucky and get back on track as we head to Milwaukee.

"Typically, I have run OK at Milwaukee. I haven't had a dynamic race there yet. We are bringing the Albertson's Ford that won in New Hampshire so that could change this weekend. Milwaukee is an older, rougher track so we'll have to adjust the set up. But I like this car and need to have a great race at The Milwaukee Mile to put us back on track for the championship."
