Wood Brothers Racing is making the cross-country trip to Sears Point, California, for next Sunday's 350k road race. Elliott Sadler-21-Motorcraft Taurus-is looking forward to the first of two road races on the schedule. He says that he views himself as a patient driver-and that that's important on road courses. Crew chief Pat Tryson is also looking forward to going to the 1.949-mile road course. The #21 team hauler was scheduled to leave the shop in Stuart, Virginia, Tuesday morning and arrive on the west coast early Thursday morning.

ELLIOTT SADLER-21-Motorcraft Taurus-"I am looking forward to going to Sears Point. I like road courses, I like how they throw them in here. After going around ovals for so long it's pretty cool to do this. I'm looking forward to a good run. There, if you just stay on the track and be patient, I think you'll have a good run, and hopefully we'll be able to do that."

PAT TRYSON, crew chief-21-Motorcraft Taurus-BECAUSE IT'S A LONG ROAD TRIP AND A ROAD COURSE, IT MUST BE DIFFICULT TO PREPARE THIS WEEK. "Road races to me are kind of fun, it's a different change of pace. It makes it hard because Pocono's quite a distance away and then you have to get back real quick and get out to Sears Point. I think it's more of a grind on the transmission people because they've put two shift tracks right back to back-it makes everybody buy a few more transmissions, makes the transmission guy work harder. But, for the most part, I think everybody's looking forward to going out there and get a little bit of fun." WHAT IS IT ABOUT ROAD COURSES THAT YOU LIKE? "It's just different, something different, another challenge. It's something different that you don't do every week. I guess if you've had good road racers you really like it and I've had some good road racers in the past, so I enjoy it, it's fun. I look forward to the challenge because it's completely different than what you're doing normally."
