WHAT:	PRESS CONFERENCE FOR THE 2001 MARCONI GRAND PRIX OF CLEVELAND
PRESENTED BY FIRSTAR


WHEN:		Thursday, June 28, 2001
				10:30 a.m.	Press Conference begins
							Lunch will be served
at the conclusion of the press conference.

WHY:	Defending Marconi Grand Prix of Cleveland Presented by Firstar
winner Roberto Moreno will be in attendance as will Indy 500 champ Helio
Castroneves.  Also scheduled to attend are CART drivers Kenny Brack, Patrick
Carpentier, Mauricio Gugelmin, Max Papis and Alex Tagliani.  All drivers in
attendance will be available immediately following the press conference for
one-on-one interviews.  The press conference will also involve
representatives from Marconi, Firstar, the City of Cleveland, Championship
Auto Racing Teams and IMG Motorsports.


PARKING:	Available in the Playhouse Square Center garage behind the
theater on Chester Ave.  A walkway on Level 2 leads directly into the
theater.  Validation will be available at the press conference.
