2001 Kenworth Advantages Savings Book Offers Truckers More Savings Than Ever

KIRKLAND, Wash., June 21, 2001 - For the fifth year, the Kenworth Advantages
Savings Book contains a variety of discount coupon offers for trucking
professionals across the United States and Canada.

The 2001 edition was introduced on June 1. Coupons are valid until May 31,
2002, allowing customers to use them when they need them.

The new edition features 49 coupons representing more than $2,500 in
discounts. Truck operators will find service coupons that range from great
savings on a Kenworth PremierCare(R) Express Lube to a significant discount
on an upgrade from a Caterpillar 3176 series engine to a Reman C-10.

Owner operators and fleet managers can also save on name-brand parts from
manufacturers such as Horton, ClimaTech, BorgWarner, Delco Remy, Dana
Spicer, Seats Inc., Acrafit, Meritor, Eaton Fuller, Truck-Lite, and many
others. These parts and services have applications for most leading makes of
trucks.

"The Kenworth Advantages Savings Book is filled with valuable coupons that
can mean over $2,500 in savings to our customers," said David Danforth,
Kenworth national parts sales manager. "The coupons are valid for one year,
giving customers the flexibility of purchasing the parts they need when they
need them." Coupons are redeemable at all participating Kenworth dealerships
in the U.S. and Canada.

"This year, Kenworth has sent a postcard advertising the coupon book to over
77,000 registered Kenworth truck owners who have up to five trucks,"
Danforth said. "A truck owner receiving the cards can then either put the
card in the mail to us to receive a coupon book by return mail, or take the
postcard to a participating Kenworth dealership, where it can be exchanged
for a coupon book.

"We are also pleased to announce that, for the 2001-02 year, we have
developed the coupon book in French for our French Canadian customers,"
Danforth said. "The French coupon book will also be available at dealerships
or by return mail."

Suggested retail price for the Kenworth Advantages Savings Book is just
$9.95. Coupon books are available at participating Kenworth dealerships.
