Buick Classis Pro-AM: Tiger Ties for 1st;
Receives Keys to lst Rendezvous

Detroit - Making good on a promise made more than a year ago, Rendezvous Brand Manager Jack Bowen presented the keys to the first Buick Rendezvous off the production line to golf superstar Tiger Woods yesterday.

The ceremony took place after the Pro Am for the Buick Classic golf tournament at Westchester Country Club in New York.

In the Pro-Am, Woods' team of Andrew Giuliani (playing in place of his father, New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani), Bowen, ABC-TV's Jack Ford, and Chuck Campagna from Sid Dilon Buick in Freemont, Neb., tied for first place. That win is Woods' first in a Pro Am event.

The Buick Classic - which marks the official launch of the Rendezvous -- kicks off today and will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC.
