Analysts International , a diversified business and information technology consulting and services firm announced that it has recently secured a significant number of new business agreements and alliances with major international companies. Financial terms and conditions of the agreements were not disclosed.
The agreements include the expansion and enhancement of a previous agreement with Lear Corporation, one of the world's largest automotive suppliers. Analysts International will provide outsourced IT call center support services under a newly executed three-year contract.
They include a renewed agreement with Ford Motor Company to provide outsourced application development and infrastructure services for Ford's global e-Business team. Membership is awarded to independent companies that have proven their expertise through certification and customer references in one or more specialized areas when delivering Microsoft technologies and IT services to mid to large-market enterprise customers.
Michael LaVelle, president and chief operating officer of the Company, stated, "Our goal this year has been to successfully initiate and complete a Company-wide restructuring designed to reduce expenses and better align resources while continuing to win our share of new business. Despite the current market challenges we will emerge with greater market share and a substantially stronger franchise. Today's announcements demonstrate the success we have had in the new business areas and that we are well positioned for additional growth and profitability as the market improves in late 2001 and early next year. We look forward to being able to announce additional new business over the next week to ten days."
Despite general industry weakness in the IT services industry, the Company has continued to provide guidance that it expects to remain profitable.
