Prolong International Corp. Appoints New Director

    IRVINE, Calif.--June 19, 2001--Prolong International Corp. (AMEX:PRL) today announced the appointment of Gregory W. Orlandella to the board of directors.
    Orlandella has been the president and founder of Corporate Capital Research Inc., located in Dana Point, Calif., since 1999 where he is engaged in working with institutional and strategic investors in both the public and private sectors. At the same time he was a founding member of Oxygen Ventures Inc., where he worked with legal counsel on investment structure and execution.
    From 1996 to 1998, Orlandella was the managing director at Corporate Communications Network II Inc. and vice president of finance at Bentley Richard and Associates from 1994 to 1996. Orlandella will serve as an outside director on the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee.
