TONY STEWART, NO. 20 HOME DEPOT PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

(ON YOUR MEETING WITH NASCAR AFTER THE RACE) "It wasn't a meeting about being upset about stuff. I just went up to ask them a couple of questions. It wasn't anything that I was upset about or anything like that. I just went up to ask a couple actual questions that didn't pertain to anything that happened today, to be honest. It was just things that I wanted to talk to them about from the past. Actually we laughed a lot. It was kind of a fun meeting."

(HOW WAS YOUR RUN OVERALL?) "I wasn't real happy, but I'm real proud of my guys. They never gave up all day. They kept working hard on the car and we just couldn't get there."
