Environmental Solutions Worldwide Tests With Major North American Retrofit Converter Manufacturer

MARKHAM, Ontario--June 15, 2001--Environmental Solutions Worldwide, Inc. (ESW) (OTCBB:ESWW), a company that develops, manufactures and markets environmental technologies, today announced that a major North American retrofit converter and performance exhaust manufacturer intends to evaluate the performance of ESW's unique diesel and gas catalytic converter substrate technologies in a direct comparison to the manufacturer's current conventional ceramic-based honeycomb substrates.
David Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of ESW, commented, "Based on the success of the latest round of in-house testing on our Clean Cat(R) diesel converters and prior tests with our Enviro-Cat(TM) gas converters, we are increasingly confident about the marketability of or growing product lines. Currently, our catalyst products are being sold as complete converter units as well as separate catalytic substrates that can fit exactly into existing retrofit manufactures product lines without the need for modification or retooling."
Mr. Johnson further remarked, "The evaluation is planned to take place in Southern California over the next few weeks." The tests will be preformed by an independent third party CARB/EPA accredited testing facility on behalf of the retrofit manufacturer. Once the third party tests have been completed and the manufacturer is satisfied with the comparative results, ESW will seek to enter into a contractual agreement to supply catalytic converter substrates into the converter manufacturer's existing product lines."
Mr. Bengt Odner, Chairman of ESW added, "This is just one of several such Retrofit and OEM evaluation programs in which ESW is currently involved or has been asked to participate in. The company believes that the successful completion of these evaluation programs is critical and upon success will potentially lead to lucrative sales agreements worldwide. Management is working towards establishing ESW's gas and diesel converter market by continuously building upon these kinds of relationships."
