MADISON, Wis.--June 14, 2001--ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a national damaged vehicle repair company with two locations in Madison, held an Open House and Career Fair at their West Madison location on Wednesday, June 13. Approximately 175 people attended these events, including members of the Madison Fire Department.
Robert Rick, ABRA's Corporate Vice President of Training, conducted an airbag safety training course and demonstration for the Fire Department, as well as demonstrations on glass repair and paintless dent removal.
According to Nancy Neumann, Vice President ABRA-Wisconsin, "We were extremely delighted that we were able to hold this mini-training session for our fire fighters. There are many dangers involved when working around undeployed airbags, and our goal is to educate our Fire Department personnel in order for them to avoid serious injury."
ABRA-West Madison, located at 6505 Odana Road, was recently remodeled to better accommodate their customers, insurance partners, and team members. The facility was expanded to 21,000 sq. ft., and includes a drive-through estimating and delivery area, spacious new waiting rooms and offices, and team member lunch and training rooms.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass is a national damaged vehicle repair company specializing in collision repair, paintless dent removal, and auto glass repair and replacement. Started with one repair center in 1984, they have grown to sixty-eight facilities in ten states. Their plans for accelerated national growth over the next several years include acquiring existing facilities and building new locations.
