    About Mondadori.com

Mondadori.com was founded in February 2000. After an experimental phase from 1995 to 1998, the Mondadori Group has been focusing more and more on its on-line services by creating a separate business department in March 1999. Later on, in the beginning of 2000, there was a company completely dedicated to on-line publishing. Since the very beginning, Mondadori.com has always been aiming at creating an integrated system of vertical sites in the leading areas of the Mondadori Group: Technology, Women's world, and News. Each area is built using original contents, with the help of the editorial staff of Mondadori magazines (Mondadori.com journalists, specific Mondadori magazines destination sites, computer magazines, Volftp, one of the world leaders for downloading software, games, and images). Since its foundation, Mondadori.com has been evolving through acquisitions and partnerships with some of the greatest Italian and foreign on-line companies. Besides, Mondadori.com has constantly developed its content offer by launching new sites ("Il Mondo di Silvana", "Inauto.com", "MyShow"), updating and enhancing the existing ones.
