Unilink Tele.com Signs Agreement with Budget-Rent-A-Car Franchises

    SCARBOROUGH, Ontario--June 13, 2001--UniLink Tele.Com (CDNX: UTI) ("UniLink" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with 6 selected Budget-Rent-A-Car franchise locations to become retail partners within the recently announced PhoneMiles(TM) Reward Program. The selected Budget-Rent-A-Car franchise locations are all within the Vancouver area. Effective immediately, PhoneMiles(TM) members will be able to earn and accumulate free long distance airtime every time they rent from these Budget locations. Also, other customers will be invited to become PhoneMiles(TM) members at these selected locations.
