ESG Forms Affiliation with Dennis Pawley's Lean Learning Center

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--June 13, 2001--The Engineering Services Group, Inc. (ESG), a Southfield, Michigan-based provider of integrated manufacturing solutions, announced a joint marketing arrangement with the Lean Learning Center (LLC), a Novi, Michigan-based lean manufacturing education and training company, for executive leadership training and shop floor implementation support.
Under the arrangement, the Lean Learning Center will include ESG among its list of preferred resources for lean implementation support services. In return, ESG will consider LLC its prime resource for employee lean implementation skill development and training, and also will direct clients to the Center.
"ESG's lean enterprise transformation standards and methodologies are in alignment with the principles taught at the Lean Learning Center, so an agreement such as ours makes sense," said Ronald Turkett, ESG Executive Director of Strategic Consulting. "Both ESG and the LLC are dedicated to helping companies achieve world class status, and both have similar understandings of the skillsets and knowledge levels necessary for companies to effectively make the transition to lean. We look forward to a long and fruitful affiliation."
"One of the missions of the Lean Learning Center is identify and work with those firms who have demonstrated a clear understanding of the rules, tools, concepts and philosophies of lean manufacturing systems," said Dennis Pawley, LLC co-founder. "We found ESG, with its diversity of services, to be an emerging leader in lean implementation and believe that they would be an asset to any firm needing support in that area."
