--Fourth Annual Father's Day-Long Event is Free and Open to The Public; Also Features Music and Food WHAT: The week-long California Classic culminates with its annual Father's Day tradition -- CONCOURS ON RODEO. This year features "Great Collections" and cars from Sylvester Stallone, Jay Leno, Tim Allen and the members of Aerosmith, including Steven Tyler, among other celebrities. The cars of Fred Hayman and Robert E. Petersen will also be featured. The day-long event features music, food, celebrities, notable car collectors and their collections plus celebrity judges including Phil Hill, the first American to win the Grand Prix World Driving Championship and three-time winner of LeMans. CONCOURS ON RODEO is free and open to the public. Presented by Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge, CONCOURS ON RODEO benefits the Amie Karen Cancer Fund for Children (AKCF). Established in 1971, AKCF supports the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. AKCF offers a rainbow of hope for children with cancer, leukemia, AIDS-related cancer, sickle cell disease and other serious blood disorders. WHEN: Sunday, June 17, 2001 Event Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. WHERE: The media check-in booth will be located on the 300 block of N. Rodeo Drive. The event will take place on the three blocks of N. Rodeo Drive between Santa Monica and Wilshire boulevards, which will be carpeted and closed to traffic. Crew parking available on Brighton Way between Rodeo and Beverly drives.
