Lencheski Joins IMI Companies as COO

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 12, 2001) - Christopher Joseph Lencheski has been
named chief operating officer of Innovative Motorsports, Inc. (IMI).

IMI is part of a triad of companies owned or controlled by George deBidart
that includes Winston-Salem, N.C.-based The Source International (TSI) and
Charlotte-based Innovative Hospitality, Inc.

Among the responsibilities involved in his new role, Lencheski, who has
retained an interest in IMI, is charged with combining the three business
units and expanding the footprint of IMI in both the NASCAR Busch and
Winston Cup series, as well as to other racing series.

"Chris and I have known each other for years, and we have discussed getting
together for quite some time," said deBidart, whose Lowes Motor
Speedway-based IMI company currently campaigns driver Kenny Wallace on the
NASCAR Busch Series. "Chris has a tremendous background in sports and
entertainment on the worldwide stage, having been involved in the Olympic
Games, and with major motorsports and professional sports teams. He also
has past and present experience consulting with some of the world's most
prominent companies and properties. We welcome him aboard as we look to
integrate the business units of our companies, providing for quality program
management for each of IMI's sponsors, partners and related operating
 units."

IMI, founded in 1998, has campaigned the Nos. 30 and 48 NASCAR Busch Series
cars for drivers Chad Little, Hermie Sadler, Andy Santerre and, currently,
Wallace. In the short time since it came to be, IMI already has earned the
Raybestos Rookie of The Year Award with driver Santerre and has scored
victories at Pikes Peak and New Hampshire. Crew chief Gere Kennon, formerly
with Dale Earnhardt, Inc., where he led the Busch series and NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series campaigns of driver Ron Hornaday, has two Busch
series championships to his credit and oversees a dedicated staff of
mechanics, engineers and specialists.

TSI, based in Winston-Salem, N.C., with an office in Studio Park, Pa., is a
full-service sports and entertainment marketing company that has the
distinction of developing the first sports affinity credit card program
nearly nine years ago - the NASCAR Drivers MBNA Affinity Credit Card
program, which has become a model other sports properties have followed.
TSI exclusively produces the sports and entertainment programming for the
QVC electronic retail channel. TSI's "For Race Fans Only" NASCAR-themed TV
show is the highest-grossing hour in all of QVC sports and entertainment
programming.

Innovative Hospitality, Inc., is a mobile entertainment and business
services unit. IMI and TSI transports the unit and its staff track-to-track
along the entire 36-event NASCAR Winston Cup circuit. It affords corporate
hospitality, the ultimate in NASCAR business-to-business networking and
business concierge services to IMI's sponsors and partners in the paddock
area. Only two NASCAR Teams - IMI and Joe Gibbs Racing - offer these
services on-site at-track.

Prior to accepting his new position, Lencheski most recently was president
of Southern California-based marketing communications company MFP, which
also involved managing directorship of commercial operations during the
inaugural (2000) season of the Mo Nunn Racing team on the CART FedEx
Championship Series. MFP was founded by former Campbell and Company
chairman and CEO Rod Campbell.

Lencheski also has held executive positions with companies whose
responsibilties included new motorsports facility development in the
Baltimore/Washington corridor, management and development of South Boston
(Va.) Speedway's Lycos 300 and Textilease-Medique 300 Busch series events,
and various marketing and licensing responsibilities for children's
entertainment characters Snoopy, Garfield, and the 1996 Atlanta Centennial
Olympic Games through Atlanta Centennial Olympic Properties.

In addition, Lencheski will continue to oversee National Grand Prix
Holdings, a motorsports event production company he founded in 1999.

"This is a compelling opportunity that has intrigued me for quite some
time," Lencheski said. "IMI has all the components in place for a very
successful run, and it is part of a family of companies that, together, we
will work toward the benefit of our constituencies."

IMI's sponsor lineup includes Goulds Pumps (a division of ITT Industries),
the Goulds Professional Dealers Association, Franklin Electric, Lumar Window
Film, and Mitel.

Lencheski, a graduate of Syracuse University, resides in Center Valley, Pa.,
with his wife Sharon and daughters Logan and Larsen.
