I-DEAS 8m3 offers significant new capabilities to enhance the user experience and mechanical design automation process.

--	New Customizable User Interface Compatible With Microsoft Windows(R) I-DEAS 8m3 offers the user the option of customizing the icon layout and pull-down menus to suit user, company, or process specific needs. --	Enhanced Design, Assembly, Manufacturing And Simulation Features Numerous enhancements have been made to I-DEAS capabilities for part modeling, assembly modeling, simulation pre- and post-processing and FEA solution solvers. Manufacturing enhancements include improvements for mold design and NC toolpath creation.

    I-DEAS 8m3 also includes support for I-DEAS(R) Enterprise(TM) release 1.5, planned for release in July, 2001, will have additional capabilities for product visualization and new data migration utilities and capabilities.
