FOX SPORTS NET WEST TO TELEVISE TWENTY WEEKS

FOX SPORTS NET WEST TO TELEVISE TWENTY WEEKS
OF RACING FROM IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY STARTING JULY 5

Irwindale, Calif. - - (June 8) Irwindale Speedway and Fox Sports Net today
announced a 20-week TV package that will kick off at 6:00 pm on Thursday,
July 5 and continue on every Thursday night on Fox Sports Net West 2 at
that same time through November 15. The network further plans to air
repeats of these shows on a to-be-announced schedule.

The shows will feature five of the most popular divisions that race at
Irwindale Speedway including the NASCAR Automobile Club Late Models, the
Food 4 Less Super Late Models, the Featherlite Southwest Tour, Winston West,
and the American Race Trucks. "It's a tremendous package for our
competitors and our sponsors," said track GM Bob DeFazio. "
This is something that we've had in the works for a long time, something
that we are all very energized about. This will give millions of fans
a chance to see what all the excitement is all about at Irwindale."

Veteran TV personality (and Irwindale VP) Pat Patterson will handle
the anchor post on the one hour tape delay broadcasts with Winston West
regular Steve Portenga working alongside Patterson as the color analyst.
Irwindale staffer Jennifer Saltis will handle pit reporting duties on
the broadcasts. "We're very lucky to have this kind of talent right
here on staff," said DeFazio. "These people know racing and know
our racers, we expect to be making thousands of new fans each week with this
 show."

"This is the answer to a question that we've been asked over and over
by sponsors and racers alike … This increased exposure will really be
appreciated by all. This opens up many new opportunities for sponsors new
and old to extend and enhance their racing involvement though things like
in-car cameras and direct in-show advertising."

Mark your calendars for Thursday nights at 6pm on FSNW2 starting July 5.
It's going to be the perfect "warm-up" for the weekend at Irwindale
Speedway.
