No.87 Potekhen spun in turn 13 and slide down to the carousel. The car was
undamaged and
continued.

Midway through the session No. 5 Luyendyk Jr. went off-course in turn 10 and
got stuck. While the session was halted No. 5 was pushed free and returned
to the pits. The car had no damage and continued ther remainder of the
session.

No. 13 Kahne went into the gravel trap in turn 13 at the same time. During
the stoppage, No. 13 was towed free.

No. 6 Kasemets returned to the paddock midway through the session. The car
was running good and he elected not to run the remainder of the session.

No. 89 LaPoint also elected not to run the second half of the session.

Late in the session No. 32 Sellers went off course in the carousel, but
continued back to the pits.

After the session was concluded No. 18 Figge was unable to start his car and
was towed back to the paddock.
