Millennium Plastics Receives Orders for VCI Films

LAS VEGAS--June 8, 2001--Millennium Plastics Corp. (OTC BB: MPCO), Friday announced that they are filling trial orders of their Solplax(TM) plastic biodegradable vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) films to PP&P Ltd. of Corby, U.K.
Rust and corrosion pose serious handling issues for the billions of auto parts shipped annually throughout the world.
"Wrapping auto parts and other metal based materials with Solplax(TM) VCI films not only provides rust protection from the corrosive effects of moisture during the shipping and storage process but also, because Solplax(TM) plastics are naturally biodegradable they can be disposed of quite easily and are extremely environmentally friendly," stated Paul Branagan, MPCO president.
PP&P Ltd. has requested a trial order for 1,000 lbs. of Solplax(TM) VCI films in advance of posting a commercial scale order for 35 tons of film.
"PP&P is looking to expand its existing VCI film market with this new line of environmentally friendly VCI films that have proved to be more efficient than polyethylene in conveying VCI to protect sensitive components while not posing the environmental disposal risks that are inherent with conventional plastics," Branagan went on to say.
Solplax(TM) plastic VCI films, like all Solplax(TM) derived products, have the unique and very environmentally beneficial characteristic of being water-soluble and biodigestible in the soil or ocean with the only by-products being non-toxic water, atmospheric gases and the resultant biomass.
