AAA Members to Save Online On NAPA Auto Parts & Supplies

    ORLANDO, Fla.--June 5, 2001--AAA members are able to buy NAPA automotive parts and accessories online at a discount through a growing number of AAA club Web sites, the nation's largest motoring organization announced today. The discounts are available to members as part of AAA's Show Your Card & Save(R) program.
    NAPA's development of an exclusive site for AAA expands the partnership between the two organizations and enables AAA's 39 million members in 71 auto clubs throughout the United States to enjoy the same product discounts they receive at participating NAPA AUTO PARTS stores.
    "Exclusive discounts on quality products and services are a popular AAA membership benefit, and AAA and NAPA have been partners in adding value to AAA membership since 1998," said Marshall L. Doney, vice president of AAA Automotive Services. "More than 11 percent of AAA members perform their own auto maintenance, and they appreciate getting a discount on quality parts and accessories."
    To obtain the discount on select parts and accessories, AAA members log on to their AAA club website (www.aaa.com) and click on the NAPA icon.

AAA members will find NAPAonline provides the highest quality in auto parts, accessories, vehicle maintenance tips and information on NAPA's network of more than 6,000 parts stores."
    AAA members can shop online 24 hours a day, seven days a week and receive fast delivery by United Parcel Service; or they can browse online, create a shopping list and then visit their nearby NAPA store to complete their purchase, receive expert advice or make a product return.
    NAPAonline allows members to customize search information specific to their car's make and model. They also can create a list of parts and supplies needed for repair and maintenance projects, then order online or purchase at their nearest NAPA store. The site also includes instructions and diagrams for completing some repair and maintenance projects. To assist AAA members, NAPA established a fully-staffed customer service center available via e-mail or a toll-free number.
